Congrats Eric!

Don't go all PC now in what you post on the other site :egrin:

Sure is taking awhile to issue something on the camber plate differences of opinion. I'd have to guess someone has a false concern about safety and can't seem to get over it so things are progressing slowly. They've been "looking into it" since at least 12/31.

The last time I had a special ruling it was done in under a week. Greg called removing the 5th/6th port sleeves/actuators/rods and wiring the VDI open as "porting" of the intake manifold and a points hit. I said no way. A few email arguments later and in under a week the tech update was issued specifically allowing it as no points.

If all goes as planned I hope to have my TII out in ST this year... is NorCal NASA licensing still a graduate program through HPDE4/TT ?

Trust me. I'm anything but PC. He said it should issued soon, at least my last communication with him. I'm waiting on a ruling myself. I may or may not seem weld the sub frames pending the outcome. FYI- That is a no point mod. I have confirmed it

Yes or you can get a provisional if you have a SCCA or equal license.
