thats looks like a little much to me.

So what's the application? What sort of torque is the motor this is going on putting out? From what I have seen there isn't much of a problem through 600ftlbs with proper solid mounts. Looks like an interesting piece. How much does it weigh?

Does it interfere or require relocation of any components?

the damper you have on the driver side looks to be effective plus another on the passenger side shock tower wouldnt hurt, i would say that and some solid mounts is what you need just like carl said how much is it hp is this making?

Ha, I actually thought about doing that........... to keep from cracking plates.

Ever notice that the dowel holes always break "down"?

So if it's "twist" then the front twists one way but the other twists the other way.

It's not a "twist" problem so much as it is the rotor housings trying to go "round" and pulling the dowel down, breaking the dowel out of the end housing.

The fretting between the housings even when the dowel areas do not fail would seem to confirm this.

I dig the steering quickener.

this motor last time made 461 @11psi at the wheels... so with all the new stuff it will make well over 500 on pump...

what's your setup?

That won't do a damned thing to prevent cracked housings.

guess this depends on your definition of twist. if the housing torques down and around adjacent to a relatively stationary plate then one could say there is a "twist" of the housing relative to the plate.

But it's not a torquing motion... notice that the other dowel never encounters any problems ever? People break side housings or even the dowels themselves break and it's always the top one... because it's not a torque force, it's a deformation as a combustion spike tries (successfully, if it breaks :) ) to push the spark plug area of the rotor housing outward.
