Microsoft is looking for a 3 rotor

Hello everybody, I dont know which would be the best place on the forum to post this so I will post it in a few places. Moderators feel free to re-direct them to the appropriate sub-forum if needed.
Microsoft is looking for a 3 rotor powered car to use for capturing audio. The 3 rotor engine has a very unique sound and we are hoping to find an extremely aggressive sample that would send shivers down your spine. If you have, or know someone who has a car that might fit the following criteria please let us know:
• 3 Rotor Engine
• Aggressive Exhaust
• Naturally Aspirated (no turbo cars, sorry :[ )
• High RPM Capable (8500+ would be ideal)
• Ported/Polished or Race Tuned a big plus. Think super aggressive!
We would be running your car on loaded dyno while capturing the sound. It’s a pretty cool process and we’ve recorded hundreds of cars before using the same technique. As car people know, there is no substitute for the sound of the real thing, and we appreciate any one willing to help us ensure we capture the true character of the rotary engine!
You can reply here or talk to Lzamboni (me) and we will contact prospective candidates privately. Thank you!

QUOTE=gmonsen;9753265]Leo... I am interested. I have an NA 20b motor with a great-sounding exhaust and it will rev to 9500+. Motor has 10:1 hi-comp rotors, large street port, custom headers and exhaust.

What would I need to do? I am unfortunately in eastern PA near Bethlehem. Would I need to sip my car somewhere?

Also, what is the purpose of this? What would it be used for?

^ This one will do nicely. Make it into a ringtone too while you're at it.

That would be cool. I would be all over a 3 rotor ring tone.

Think X-box

If your car is indeed recorded for this reason I'll soon have another video system for Erin to play with :p

post this in the NW section. Although I only know of two 20B cars in WA and they are both turbo.

For a 20B NA engine i would def go for a PP engine and not a streetported one. As the PP engine will give you alot better sound. Sorry gordon but it's the truth.
