Making my own sway bar links, camber adjust rod, various links

Has anyone copied Mazdatrixs' sway bar links with spherical rod end links? I found a website qa1.net that lists specs, part numbers, and dealers for thousands of different variations. I need to take my stock links off and measure them, but I know I can copy what Mazdatrix sells for $66. Anyone else done this?

Yep; I did it with my stock front bar at the time. All you need are male and female rod ends with 10mm center bores. You'll have to add some spacers to fit them up correctly since the balls on the aftermarket parts are thinner than the stock ones.

You realize Mazdatrix only wants $74 and they include the spacers? I would just buy them from Mazdatrix :p:

There is an even cheaper way to do it. You can use the stock sway bar link and cut a one inch piece from the centre of the bar. Then tap the inside with the appropriate thread and buy a 3" piece of pre-threaded o.d. rod for about 10 bucks and re-attach the two half's of the link by screwing them back together. The only problem is you have to disconnect one side of the link every time you want to adjust it, but for 10 bucks I have no complaints.
