M/T street radial for Drag FD
Hi guys
I would like to run in drag racing with my FD in Street class . Here in Greece i can you only this type of tire . My intension is to run 20+ psi of boost ( R-85 , Tec3r ...etc ) and i hope to see more than 400hp at the wheels . With the stock rims and 255/50/16 for rear , its a good set-up for drag racing ? |
That would be plenty of tire for you.... Their are mustangs running low 8's-high 7's with them, here.

Τhanks , Lupe
Congrats also for you car . I have see the 10.7 video . I hope to make a time like yours ! |
I would only put them on when racing... don't expect them to last longer than 3K-4K miles. They are very very soft.
They just need a light burnout unlike the Nitto DR's that need to be heated up every run. Don't get caught in the rain with them on the car. Not safe. |

They simply get harder right out of the mold. After a year for best performance it would be wise to replace them. I doubt they will last long for you LUPE :).
