What cant be done to keep my car FP or EM legal? I already removed most of the interior and sound proffing in the rear still need to do the front. I have also removed all heat sheilds and any other sheilds not needed in my opion I wanna make sure I dont go to far before I cant fix it.

Sounds as if you are aiming for SCCA events so check their rules. Buy a rule book or download for free from their site.
That being said, you can pretty much remove anything that doesn't make the car unsafe, go and stop.
I run a 79 Limited F/P (see avatar).
The interior is stripped out including the tarry sound deadner. Not a fun part of the job.
I have a temp gauge and tach. No dash at all. I mounted my fuse box on the trans tunnel with a panel of switches for ignition, elect system, fuel pump and fan.
Doors are skins, no windows/channels or hardware. I reach outside to open the doors.
I retained the stock passenger seat, I like to share the fun.
The battery is behind the passenger seat and I have an Autopower roll bar.
It isn't required, but it was in a parts car so I put it in.
I have 5 point harnesses on both seats.
All exhaust heat sheilding was also removed.
After stripping it out, I rattle can painted it light grey. It has held up surprisingly well.
Headlights are gone and covers riveted closed. Side marker light openings are covered with black painted screen.
There is little more weight to remove, but I'm close to the minimum now.
The folks on this site were very helpful answering a lot of questions that I had.

Other mechanical details;
13 B, Weber, RB intake and header, Ground Control coilovers, caster/camber plates, Illumina shocks and struts,Eibach springs, strut tower brace, bigger front bar (no rear), roll bar, Kirkey driver seat, Diamond wheels with Goodyear slicks (now 3 years old). Under 2000 lbs.

Yea I got to find my rules book we just moved and looking at the stuff online is really bad with my slow computer.

One thing you don't see mentioned much, that I recently did, is to replace the water pump housing with a 2nd gen unit. I also ordered a new pump at the same time, and it happened to be aluminum as well. Altogether, I'd estimate about 10 pounds difference (that cast iron 1st gen housing weighs a ton).

I know it's only 10 pounds, but the parts can be had cheap, and once you've gotten to the point where everything else has been done, it might be worthwhile to consider.

yeah i like that! our current spec e30 doesnt have a passenger seat, which isnt cool at all.

Yea the water pump housing is one of the things I am looking at for my next build.

I got done pulling plastic clips off the car. Pull like any unwanted metal pipes in the engine bay.

If you are good at welding you can get rid of the sunroof and the hatch and put a just a piece of sheet metal.

Yea no sunroof and I was gonna run with out the rear hatch if it legal? Also the driver is going to go through a weight lose to. Hoping to drop 60-80 LBS from driver and maybe double that from the car.

read the rules its in there! you can run plexiglass/lexan but its gotta be there, unless you run a vert
