ITs wheel offsets?
 

Hi Im in the process of picking up some new wheels for my FC Its car. I was wondering what offsets people were running with. Obviouslly the wheels need to be 15x7 as per the rules, and I was looking at some wheels with a +40..how does that sound?

I heard that speedsource runs with +30 TE37's, but adds a 10mm spacer to get them where they want..

You'll need around +25 to comfortably clear Hoosiers without spacers. A +40 with a half inch spacer will be close. I use +37 Koseis with a 1/2" spacer and have no problems.

mine are 35 with a 10mm spacer. No rubbing anywhere. (waiting for the flames over using spacers.)

Which wheels are you considering?

No flames, I'm currently trying to figure out if there is an "easier" way to install longer lugs in the stock hubs other than pulling them off the spindles and wacking the bolts out with a BFH.

Until then, I can't use the spacers I need to keep 225 rubber from scraping the GC coilover perches.

Yeah, it seems that everyone is pretty much forced to run spacers to get the wheels where they need to be.

I was looking to pick up some Rota GT3's in red with the polished lip. They are about 12lbs, look great, and run 15x7 +40 with our bolt pattern. Cheap too. Does anyone have any experience with these?

I dont think there is really any other way Wrankin to get those studs outta there. I did it on my car, and it was kind of a pain, even with a press.

I run panasports on my ITS FC, they do a special offset per our order at no extra charge, I run the 4 lug, and run the hoosiers without spacers and they clear perfect, which means absolutely as wide as possible and just fits in the fender. I do have longer aftermarket studs all 4 corners....

BTW:panasport turns the rims per your car to get the offset you want and the hubcentric correct, as part of their standard service.....

Another option is the V6 mustang wheels off of a 94+ car. They're 15x7, have the correct 5x114.3 bolt pattern, are 24mm offset (at least some are, I don't know if all are, but they're probably all the same), but are reasonably heavy at 16lbs for the 96 ones (only weight numbers I've seen so far). It'd definetely be a good budget solution and won't require any spacers.
