ITS Brakes

What's a common set-up in terms of brake rotors and pads that people are running in ITS? I'm looking in the GCR, and by my understanding, rotors can't be modified.....does that mean everyone is running Napa blanks and HT-10's?

Hawk Blues (on the front) seem to be popular, coupled with whatever decent and cheap rotors you can find. A lighter pad (like a Black) on the rear seems to work well in balancing thing out.

Hawk Blues all around with a bias adjuster. I've run Mazda, Brembo and Pep Boys rotors and never noticed a difference in any of them. Look for the best deal.

All the rotors must be blanks, right? No provisions for slots or vane changes?

I'm guessing the 10/12/14 take too long to heat up and are inefficient at the brake temps you guys experience?

Correct.

That would be my guess but no idea. Blues were all I ever ran. I never had a reason to try anything else. There might be something better on the market. I just never felt the need to search.

The HT-10's have more bite than the Blue's do. I like them for a course that is harder on brakes. After running the blues for 2 years, I could tell the difference with the 10's. They are a little more grabby when cold, so be careful if it is wet.(i usually swap the blues back on if raining)
