I picked up a Tow Vehicle over the weekend

I knew my 99 Tacoma wasn't going to be able to hack it, so I found this baby locally. 2002, 60k miles K1500. Gonna use her to haul the car out to VIR this weekend (once i straighten out the wiring for the trailer)

Yes...I didn't waste any time getting the stickers on it.

Nice truck. And of course having the enclosed back is nice when you're not towing an enclosed trailer.

Yes, those are two clubs of which I would be proud to be a member.

I strongly recommend a Tekonsha Prodigy brake controller, it's a nice piece.

I have to say, a 2500 model Suburban would be a nice replacement for our 95 F-150. We tow a 2-horse trailer, and although I'd lose 10" of wheelbase the heavier frame and weight rating is probably worth it. That's a great truck.

Yeah, i had originally thought of a Tahoe but after talking to a few people decided that the longer wheelbase and extra room of the burban would be better.

I ended up getting an Oydessy Brake controller with 4 load levels. Got the wiring straightened out and picked up the borrowed trailer last night.

edit: I was just in Harrisburg a few weeks ago on business. Too bad I didn't know there were rotary track heads in town :o

To call me a rotary track head is a massive overstatement. My one FATT hardly qualifies me. I aspire, and my budget keeps things that way.

Now next time you need to stop at York and see Zach Keller's FD V8 setup. Aw now that thing is ridiculous.

He's a Rhodesian Ridgeback/Boxer mix. We adopted him from Petsmart.

Renesisfury 11-19-06 09:36 PM

I had a ridgeback, great stubborn dog
