How to remove sound deadening material from sloped areas?

Dry ice doesn't work on sloped areas like the shock towers or the cargo bin area, so does anyone know how to remove it from these places?

I used this stuff, but it was $12 or so per can when I ordered it. Probably take you a few cans to do everything, including the trans tunnel sides..

A dam of plasticine or putty should last the minute or so required to hold the dry ice in place. A cold chisel - or, shock horror, screwdriver even - with a mallet, even minus the co2, can work near enough.....if you don't go nuts and punch holes through metal..

I’ve seen people use a bag that’s taped around the edges of the sound deadening with an opening on top to form a pouch, then dump in dry ice from the top

I tried using some freeze spray on one section of the deadening, but couldn't make a dent. It's really hard to get the blade into the edges of the material (for various reasons). Should I just try to make a gap in the middle and work my way out, or something? I probably need a stiffer, sharper blade, to begin with. Or a gigantic bottle of liquid Co2...

Left mine outside over night in the winter weather. Temp was below freezing. Went out in the morning started beating on it with a rubber mallet. Got all of it out. Was about 40 pounds of weight out of the car

That does work, but it needs to be really fucking cold. You basically can't do this job in the summer.
