Hood Pin fitment
 

Anyone know if the Ford Racing hood pin kit would fit an 84' ?

ahhh, they are hood pins? should fit anything that needs 4" or less reach.

So does an 84 need 4" or less? Having never installed em before I have no clue how to even check.

I do not have an 84 here to check, so its hard for me to comment. Even if they did a mount or something could be fabbed up to make them work. I can check the length of some hood pis I have at the shop and let you know how long they are.
BTW I carry Sparco and other hood pins if you are close to Denver you can just come by and check them out/pick them up.

I just installed a set of those in my Miata.

Best way to answer your question is to out to the garage and measure. Start by figuring out where you want to put them. Use a ruler or something 4" in length to figure out how high it would stand. Deduct about 1/2" since the pin has 2 nuts which will sandwich the pin to whatever piece of sheet metal you decide to use.

4" should be enough.
