Fuel Temps
Hey, does anyone have any expirience with lowering your fuel temps and is there any kind of benefits?
|
the only benifit i can see would be to lower EGT's. and if you arent having a problem with those then don't worry about it. cooling the fuel doesnt cause quite the density change like you see in air, so try cooling your air, cold air intake and such. i've also heard of people building boxes for dry ice around their intake tubes.

I added a fuel cooler while I was setting up my custom fuel system.
it was only $35, really big , and I figured it couldnt hurt on a turbo motor. |
i mad up a fuel cooler out of a plastic container with a coil of fuel line on the inside and on race days fill it with ice not dry ice as the scrutineers get a suspect when you have steamy smoky substance coming from you car. i wouldn't really worry about a fuel cooler unless you are runnin 1 or 2 turbos
