Fuel Cell Wiring Harness for In Tank Pump

5 Attachment(s)
Currently looking for available options on fuel cell wiring harnesses for in tank fuel pumps. Found some fuel safe options at Pegasus auto racing supplies, but coming short on other options. Anybody know of an alternative manufacturer source? Bosch, Denso, RCI?? :dunno: Realy like to plug on the dual pump setup below.

I plan on making an in tank surge tank similar to the one below.

Just a FYI, after a lot of head scratching, that first system won't work with the standard (early at least) plastic in-tank pot....and I'd hate to see you burn out the lift pump through repeated momentary starvation and subsequently the pressure pump....with worse to come, by not running one. You have to cut into the tank and make another larger pot with swing doors or ball valves.

A suggestion with the harnesses, if you can source Raychem Spec 44 wire for in-tank use, that should get you out of the rough if that's the question. Deutsch do mega expensive hermetic through connectors for power, a couple of lengths of threaded 5mm ish rod and some turned nylon male and female halves should do the trick otherwise if you're a cheap bastard like me.

Yeah, thanks for the pointers, already looking into an in-tank low pressure/high volume lift pump. I already have the hyperion surge tank cover in place, may just modify it to accept the surge tank profile. Overkill? Maybe...

Interesting idea on the DIY electrical setup, I'll think about that thanks.

Wow, I think I can get these through work. :suspect:
