Flat shifting on a rotary.

Curious really. Has anyone got a sequential gear set up, 5 or 6 speed, AND running a flat shifting system??? Full throttle gear changes?

I'm told its not as easy to run flat shifting system on the rotaries as it is on a piston lump. Any imput appriciated

I dont believe its any different that running one on a piston motor

Racelogic sell's a unit i believe that allows flatshifting on a rotary as well

Cheers guys. From what i understood running full throttle gear shifts on the rotaries it could cuase tips to break due to the way the electonics cut the spark to allow the change.

You don't necessarily have to use ignition cut. Simply retarding the timing can be enough to hold the revs in check between gear changes.

oh whoops, should have read closer, I don't think he runs with a flat shift system. Good luck anyway! :)
