First time at the track with my FD - 11.6 @ 122mph! :) Pics, etc..

I barely made it out this year. It was the last T&T of the season and man it was CROWDED - 400 cars.

I was able to make 3 passes in 6 hours, but it was fun shmoozing and checking out all the cars. Everything was out there... new CTS-V's, twin turbo Vipers, AC Cobras, turbo-busas, you name it.

It was about 55 degrees out and I surprisingly didn't have too bad of traction problems. My sixties were 1.95, 1.95, and 1.85. I thought this was particularly good considering I was running 275/30/*19* street tires.

Anyway, the end result was an 11.6@122mph. On my first pass, the drivers side headlight cover flew off at about 3/4 track. Luckily it went straight up, but was damaged when it came down. Gonna need a new one of those :) My rear end bushings are so shot that I was getting SEVERE wheel hop in second. A minor shock adjustment and shift adjustment and I was able to iron it out but not before the hop broke my headlight cover :( Mods below:

99 LS1 stock shortblock
GTP ported 5.3L heads
TSP 225/225 .589/.589 112lsa cam
LS6 intake, ported TB
1 3/4" Long tubes.
2.5" true duels w/xpipe
LS6 clutch

Made 414whp/384wtq two weeks ago on a dynojet. The F-Body next to me was a MISSILE. Fully built 6.0L turbo making insane power. I'm grateful though, I always seem to run faster when I'm chasing somebody - I'm sure it's all in my head.

First pass was an 11.9@120mph vs a GT35R Evo 9. He ran a 12.2@113mph - VERY nice car. All balck, no spoiler, slammed on DR's.
