FD Alignment / Adjustment Question
 

Hello All,

This is my first post in this area. I had a wheel alignment recently done and I had the 2 front control arms changed. I've been having some weird issues going straight on full boost so I am checking everything over.

First I notice the rear arm adjustment bolt was left loose and you can see where the back wheel is moving, I noticed the area where the adjustment reading was to be very clean and then I noticed it was moving up and down in that area, I fixed that.

Next I notice that the the bolts that hold the front control arm (the ones that have the adjustment dials on them), they are mounted differently. Some are facing the front and some are facing the back of the car. If the bolts are put in front to back or vice versa, does this affect the alignment? The reason I ask is because I was provided with a printout of all greens that stated my alignment was perfect but now I know otherwise!

I asked a friend to videotape my car from the back and you can see in the upper gears how the car pulls to the right. The video is is my signature.

You need to bring it south for a true 600hp alignment! :lol:

There was a guy named John who worked at the Goodyear in Rt 106/107 just south of the LIE and NSP. It was on the right side of the street when you were going south. I used to use him for my street / HPDE cars as he was highly recommended from all the local autocrossers.

A friend of mine opened a shop 2 years ago in Mineola and does a fair amount of suspension and corner weighing and alignment for high end cars. He used to work at Autosport or Autotech on all the high end cars. Did some work on my car when I lived in the area. Shop is JSS, owner's name is Bert, phone is 516.877.9899. since this thread is about alignment... can anyone here tell me where i can go to have it done? ( need a shop that will use computer to do the alignment... cause just installed 4 new tires. ) anywhere in 91776 area? ... ( sorry for jacking ur thread: Anthonynyc)
