FC guys drag racing help for a new guy

I plan on running my car for the first time at the track. I've run my non-EVO lancer over there, but I know this car is a whole 'nother ballgame. What are some tips? Mainly:

air pressure on tires
slip or dump the clutch
what rpms
anything I should watch out for on a FR config

basically I know how to drag, but only on a FF.

TIA
Mike

p.s. it's going to be extremely hot tonight probably around 125+ track temps.

Totally different thing, but when I have to do standing starts I don't dump the clutch, but I don't dillydally releasing it either. I'm launching around 4500 RPM, but on barely warm road race tires. Not much but hey, it's something.

GL.. There's a reason I'm hybernation til september. It's too damn hot out there.

its going to be easier on ur part with a FR rather than a FF because with an FF, when u have wheel spin your steering wheel is going to go all over the place and takes longer to control. with an FR its just going to be your rear wheels so u dont have to worry about that too much...unless you give it too much power and fishtail it, but thats not likely. And yes 4500 is perfect ;)
