engine build q's

Ill give as much info as I think ill need, feel free to ask me anything you think may be related.

My goal is to have a motor built to handle 20-25psi peak .
I will be streetporting a cosmo re 13b motor I have.
I will be running an aquamist water meth mix with summer kit to aid in the detonation department.
It will have to air and fuel required for my goals.

What I'm wondering is if I should use stock mazda apex seals and such, or if I should go with an aftermarket set. I would like to think the stock apex seals would be best for my setup.

I will be using used housings, from a motor with less then 20k miles on it.

Thanks for any input, this will be my first build and would like to use the right parts but do not have the experience as many of you may.

While I am at it... What master rebuild kit would I use for a 13b cosmo!? I would think either s5 or s6... Maybe a mixture of both? If anyone has direct experience with the seals required it would be appreciated.
Thanks

apex seals are really of your choice, My opinion on them is RA superseals. We have used superseals for years in all of our race cars and street cars ranging from 200rwhp to 1000rwhp and in upwards of 55psi of boost.

As far as a rebuild kit is concerned your going to wanna go with 93+ internal seals and you'll have to find what ever external gaskets you may need(IE... uim, lim, throttle body,wp,wp housing.) to suit what you have as they are all different for each motorset.

If you have any questions feel free to pm. We at GNS racing have been building rotaries for the last 25+ years and have many championships and winning titles in our name. If you doubt that look up the owner Carlos Gonzales, he has raced all his life and was the first ever to win the NHRA sport compact series in his red FC.

Have the seals gone in used housings?

I worry what tougher seals may do to a used housing, which is why I wonder about anything but stock seals.
It will have a safer tune, not aggressive on timing and enough fuel, but I want something that won't break at 25 psi, if you have used the ra super seals in used housing with good results, then I will likely go with them.
