Just make sure if you're logging gains as you modify that you return to the same dyno for subsequent runs. Most all makes of dynos will be consistent from run to run. It's when you mix brands you begin to see different numbers.
Return to the same dyno and make sure that the setup parameters are the same. My local guy rents his dyno to another shop that likes to crank the correction factors up off the charts to inflate their HP numbers for their customers. If you dyno with the corrections set one way, go home and make a modification and then come back with the corrections set differently you'll get a skewed reading.
