Common upgrades for autocross?

I bought an rx7 that the guy knew nothing about. Appears to be setup for autocross.

I've found steel braided brake lines, Tokico shocks and springs, aftermarket roll bar, koyorad radiator, upgraded dual exhaust (brand unknown, custom?) and today, a racing beat exhaust manifold.

My main question, what other upgrades might have been done to it? Someone spent a lot of time and money on this car, no telling what all is done.

Thinking of pulling the injectors to see if they're upgraded... Can someone post a picture of the stock injectors for comparison?

It's an 88 convertible. Original motor and Trans... I think. It's still NA 5sp with a 9 fin rear diff, so not thinking anything done there.

Thanks in advance!

You must be a pretty trusting person to have bought a car off a guy who had no clue about the car and without getting it inspected properly first! :p

Other common upgrades would be aftermarket ECU, intercooler, intake and brakes.

Take a picture of the engine bay.

Look for urethane bushings and adjustable links in the rear suspension

All the mods so far sound like standard street car stuff...

It's got the stock air box removed.
Brakes are the stock 4 piston with steel braided lines. Rotors look stock as well.
Intercooler not an issue, it's an NA.
Will be checking the ECU shortly!

you wouldn't have paid $1000 for this:  (76000 miles with BBS Prima Donna wheels.)

Probably stock, there's nothing to gain by going with larger ones.

that's what i thought...

now, how to tell if it has been 'street ported' or anything as such?

I found this RotaryHeads.com - Rotary Engine Porting - RX-7 RX-8 Renesis Wankel Ports RX7 RX8 and under 'street port 2' it says 'you'll notice some misfiring' ... I've replace plugs, wires, coils, oil, oil filter, drained gas tank, and replaced fuel filter and am still getting an odd misfire... Might this be the culprit?

Video of it running right after i first got it to start... after I shut it off and started it two hours later it had the misfire.
