Carb Jets

Hey everyone -

Can anyone give me an idea of what your primary and secondary jets are?

IT-7/SRX/Spec-7 cars -

Are you having issues or just looking for better performance?

Typically if you're around 95-100 primary and 155-170 secondary you're in the ballpark but it depends on a lot of different factors. It's pretty easy to find the sweet spot for your setup with a little trial and error, just make sure you have egt's or a/f meter installed to make sure you dont run it too lean.

Better performance -

Right now I am at 95 on the primaries and 160 on the secondaries.

Sorry, been at the track.

Your main jets sound about right. Do you feel like your car is not pulling well through low to mid-range rpm's?

What kind of fuel pump are you running? fuel pressure?

I would be happy to build a carb for you if you're interested. I've been working with nikki carbs for about 7 years and have come up with a fuel delivery setup that is as good as anybody's.

No - The car pulls well through the mid range - It just seems I don't have any power up top to hold onto anyone... Were you at the ARRC?

Yeah I was at the arrc.

Your top end should be fine with 160's in the secondary. We ran 95-160 on sunday in the enduro in my friends car. Maybe you're having another issue. Do you have egt guages in your car?

I cant recognize that car from your avatar, were you at the arrc?
