Calling all Dell'orto owners/tuners
 

Alright guys I'm attempting to compile all the info I can on the Dell so I can put together a set of spreadsheets that will calculate the *ideal* setup for a any vehicle under any cicrumstances. I know this is going to be a monumental task but IF I can pull it off I'm sure it will be very useful to those of us who use the Dell, as well as giving a good foundation for Holley,Weber, Nikki, etc.

PLEASE POST THE INFO IN THE SIMPLEST FORMAT POSSIBLE AS THIS MAY SAVE MY EYESIGHT AND SANITY. :MissileSm

Got it and got it bro! Any thing else you can add as far as explanations, formulae, etc. would be greatly apprciated. The more I read the more I find out I really don't know jack about carbs :)

The Dell'Orto is an Italian copy of the orginal masterpiece, the Italian made Weber carb.

Read this article http://www.mazspeed.com/carburetorfacts.htm that I wrote in 2000 about carb tuning advice. I did not put any specific Dell'Orto jet sizes in that article, but the carb tuning theory about venturies, main jets, air jets, etc applies to all carburetors. I now have another 6 years Weber experience since I wrote that article. About the only thing out of date in that 6 year old article is that now I do not recommend Yaw carbs for 4 barrel applications anymore, simply because Paul Yaw seems to busy to work on them now. I would now recommend a Sterling carb for 4 barrel street applications now.
