BF Goodrich Rival tires has anyone use them on the track?
hello,
my car club is changing to use this tire for this 2014 racing season. need information or feedback on anyone that has used them for road racing. any info like spring rates, what camber to use,...... my car is a bridgeported FD around 220hp, running on enkei RPF 17x9 tires size is 225.45.17 I use teins coilover spring rates 450# front 225# rear we ran Falken Azenis last year same threadware on both tires so I dont think it should be that different. any info will be appriciated. thanks Jose P. |
well i have zero experience but these are the tires i plan to buy for my fd in a month or two from all the reviews I've seen they seem to grip like 140 tw , But last longer , and seem to be ok with being warm . dont get oily in the heat . but not the best tires in the rain .
this is all from fellow auto-xers who have used it , and reviews on the interweb also what kind of racing do you do? |
BP'ed FD with 220 hp?
|
I would assume....no turbo.

thanks for the info
a few guys that have tried them here say that you need to lower the air pressure and give more camber +3 degrees I ran my old hankooks at 36/34 But these tires seem much softer even sidewall wise compared to my hankooks . So I was curious what you concidered low PSI |
