Better dust boots for track use?
The heat generated in running my car on the track has completely demolished the dust boots on all of my brake calipers, AGAIN. Are there any aftermarket ones available made of silicone or something that can better withstand the rigors of track use?

You should look into getting some brake ducts.

Yeah, those are on my project list.

There are some ceramic brake pad backing plates that will help keep the heat away from the calipers, they'll help your fluid temps as well. IIRC HRPworld has them.
But yes, brake ducts will help for less money. |
GooRoo make some titanium backing plates for the front FD brakes. Aren't the pads the same shape?

I have a set of these titanium plates. They go on between the pad and caliper just like a regular brake shim. They are around .030 thick.

Where can one purchase these?
