looks like im going to have to tackle this in the next few months. new SRX7 rules allow removal of interior including carpet, etc. hopefully its not too difficult.

You can try using something like Goop Off (or Goof Off) to get more of the little tar bits off. My interior looked a lot like that when I first scraped the tar off. You just squirt the cleaner on, wait about 30 seconds, then wipe. It gets a lot more off than you would think. It's only a couple of dollars per bottle at Target and I used less than one bottle on the whole inside of the car. I have heard of others using a wire wheel on a drill, but you will have to paint the interior if you do that. |
