best ECU for ASP autocross

What is the best uprgraded ECU that is still allowable in the a-street prepared autocross class? For a 3rd gen, by the way. Thanks!

This is tough question for both FD owners and the SCCA. Officially, any re-mapped/re-chipped ECU is legal in SP .... but, reprogrammable ECU's, especially those capable of boost control, are not allowed. We've had the argument over why the reprogrammables should be allowed, but to no avail. From talking to our local SEB, he believes that the SP classes will eventually give way to the ST and SM classes. So if you were thinking about moving to SM2, I would go for the reprogrammable ECU. But to answer your question, for a truly ASP car, you're pretty much limited to the Pettit, M2, and G-Force re-programmed ECU's. (Although G-Force does all the programming for M2, so why not just go straight to the source.)
