battery box

i have a sealed optima battery in my hatch bolted down to the stock tray. what kind of sealed tray do i need to be legal. i plan on drag racing the car and it should dip into the 10 second zone. i never asked but one of those summit racing metal sealed battery boxes should work fine right ?

if it says it's nhra legal, then it is, but i think they require you to have a kill switch the alternator when relocating, not sure.

I believe the metal Summit box is not legal. It is not sealed. The Moroso box is sealed and thus legal for NHRA.

For a better look than the Moroso box, check this one out. You may want to call to make sure it is sealed.
