Anyone ever use KC raceware brakes
Has anyone ever used KC raceware's brakes for first gen RX7's?

Charlie Clark is a long time SCCA racer/winner and knows his stuff. IIRC, his son is on the forums here. In a nutshell, he makes quality parts and if I had a 1st Gen track/race car I would have no issues using anything he comes up with...

Thanks I was trying to contact him to buy his brake set up. I had e mailed him and called on the phone but had not been able to get in touch with him. But yesterday I got in contact with him. I will be getting his brake set up soon.

Charlie does a lot of traveling for racing (whether he's driving, or supporting an event with his business). He's usually at our NASA Central events selling/mounting tires as well as his normal SCCA events, so his availability may vary given it's racing season. ;)

1 Attachment(s)
Just finished my brake set up. I got some 7s only take offs. But I didn't want to go to 15" rims. So working with the guys at 7s Only I made a bracket so I could use the bigger Outlaw calipers. (7s Only has a EP set up for 13" rims using the stock GSL-SE calipers)':egrin:
Attachment 646380 The 10" rotor on the top and the 12" rotor on the bottom. The nice thing about this set up, is the Struts use bigger bearings and double adjustable strut inserts. But you can get these hubs with the smaller 84-85 size bearings too. |
Hey guys, sorry to nose in on a brake thread, but do you guys know the best way to get rear camber in a first gen? How about additional front camber? Anybody ever heard of transplanting a Miata rear suspension into a first gen? Thanks a lot!!

As for camber in the rear. call around and then take it to a race shop that will do it for you. Bending axles is an art. As for the Miata rear, a LOT of work and to many points. May as well do a 3 link and panard bar. |
