Any carb experts out there?

Again, no responses in 1st gen forum.

Ok, I have an '85 GS 12A that is going to be an autox/track car in the state of SC. How much of the emmissions stuff can I get rid of? Which vacuum hoses are needed for operation versus polution control?

There are no state inspections in SC and no smog laws. Most of the vehicles around here could moonlight as mosquito trucks.

i'll sum up what was said in the 1st gen section. you'll need one vacuum line to the brake booster if you lose the vacuum advance on the dizzy.

We've got minimal smog stuff on our racecar. I would say zero, but I'm not 100% sure about that. If you'd like, I can take a picture of the carb setup on it tommorow and send it to you.

Emmisions vacuum hoses

Clean the engine of all vacuum hoses except, like someone already said the
vacuum for the brakes. Plug all vacuum leaks and you should be
good to go and it should run slightly better, as long as all vacuum
leaks are plugged.
