air control motor on j-tech
Has anyone put an air control motor on a J-tech manifold to make it more streetable? Right now it idles at 2000. On top of rotary fumes at idle, obviously it worst with a higher idle. I am running an Electromotive Tech-3R computer so I could just program it in. Any ones' two sense?

And what about this particular forum would make you think it would be a good source of information about making a car more streetable?
|
?
Cause the J-Tech is a race manifold Jack-ass.

i have installed an acv using the jay-tech intake, but not in the manifold.. i use accufab throttle bodies and on one of the sides there is a provision built in for one.. i could post a pic if you would like

here is a link to a pic of where the acv bolts to the tb

What about "race car tech" implies that the info here pertains to making cars anything but LESS streetable "jackass". By definition, the manifold you are trying to put on a street car is then NOT a racing manifold. No problem if you are trying to make your car more "trackable", but if not you are crossposting in the wrong forum.

just braking balls
I was just breaking balls cause this is a drag racing throttle body/manifold, and figured some " drag racer" has more experience with this then your average knowledged fd owner. Nothing personal. Anyway this throttle body is nasty! I had to make the whole throttle cable attachment. It wasn't fun, and I still don't like it. ... Is that throttle body mounted horizontal? I looks like it won't fit mine? I have to post a pic of my set up. Thanks though.
