AFCO 80125N Radiator

My Ron Davis radiator that bolts to the stock mounts is not repairable. I ordered an AFCO 80125N which requires fabricating mounts (and some cutting I believe) but it won't be here until the day before I leave town for a race and will have to fabricate mounts and install at the track. This makes things a little more challenging than at the shop.

If anyone could please share pics of how they mounted this radiator in a 2nd Gen it would be a huge help so I have an idea of what material I need to get and can plan ahead. I can bring a grinder and cut off wheel but won't have aluminum welding capability at the track. PM if you would rather email than share the pics publicly.

Thanks!

I don't know how big of a radiator you purchased, but I would have an idea of how I would modify a radiator to fit a fc. Is there any way you could have threaded bunges welded on your radiator beforehand? The side brackets can pretty much be done with 90 degree aluminum. You would need it at least 1.5-2" x 4' long to just make sure you have plenty of material. I would use 3/32 to 1/8" thick. Make sure your hardware isn't so long you puncture your radiator, or bring some washers

Here's my site with some pics

I basically made mild steel shoes that the Rad fits in, top and bottom and then I bolt the front and back legs of the rad to the shoes.
