1st gen suspension tuning issues

I had some problems this weekends races. the only thing that changed from previouse races was some camber plates and I stiffened up the front shocks
2.5 degrees of camber, very little caster as I only have the stock adjustment to work with.

I could not get my tires to heat up or gain PSI at all.

Highspeed transitions were better than ever but low speed handling was poor.
The car would oversteer transitioning from high to low speed in turns then understeer soon as I got into low the speed sections.

My lap times were several seconds slower than usual and Id never had these issues before.

any ideas, advice, tips?

Maybe lower the rear tire pressure or soften up your rear...

What kind of spring rates (Front and rear)/ tires / rear geometry are you running? Also, where are you running?

One possibility is that you are benefiting from the added camber at high speed turns because your car is leaning and you are using more of the contact patch. but at lower speeds, your car doesn't lean as much and you are using less contact patch compared to before. You can test this out by reducing the camber a bit. You can also bump up the rear tire pressure a bit to help the car rotate at lower speeds. Need to know more about your setup...

I run the racing beat springs, stock front bar and no rear bar currently.
stock control arms and watts link.

I suspect your right on the camber issue.

I run on supper grippy like sandpaper concrete

What about your shocks and alignment? What type of wheels / tires are you running, and at what pressures (cold and hot)?

More importantly, whats the temperature spread on the tire? Is it hottest in the middle or on the inside edge?

Did you reset the toe-out after the camber changes? Toe-in makes the car a little more stable at high speed, but then the car does not want to turn in. On my 1st gen, I like zero to 1/16" toe-out.

I like running at least 5 degrees caster on my 1st gen racer.
