Took my HSF"honda S2000 fighter" to a locoal time trial event. due to lock of Rx-7 enterence... ( or i should say none !!) i get to put it in S2000 group ;) but they are all pretty nice to me !! a pretty fun event for me Brake my personal best lap time from 59.9 to 59.2 from last testing i have put a G force tri link and pandhard bar on. new 275 lb rear spring s |

I actually knew what it was ;) Loose swinging things in race cars are bad, and not good luck. Might want to put it in a compartment or attach it to something so it cant move.
Time trial or not, I would at thought that at the very least a long sleeve shirt would have been required. If not, I would have likely worn one anyway, but thats likely because I have spent most of my "track days" with the PCA, and they require it. In fact, since there were other cars out there that could easily experience driver or mechanical failure and involve me in a "racing incident", I would have opted for a cage, drivers suit, and other safety equipment that protects me when other cars might aim for me. I noticed there WAS passing, and possibly even passing in corners, which to me means full-on racing, which means if your not taking your safety seriously you need to find another hobby. Sorry if I seem a buzz kill, but I have been involved in Club, Vintage, and Professional racing for almost 25 years, and old habits are second nature, especially saving my own skin. or the skin of my driver. |
