-16an fittings for Davies Craig Pump + Radiator Setup?

Hey guys,

Hopefully I'm not too far out in left field with this question but, I want to cut off the in/out of the FD3S Koyo N-Flo and weld on AN fittings to use with Davis Craig EWP.

The EWP company supplies -16an adapters to the actual pump inlet/outlet, which makes me believe this is what they recommend. However, the FD factory hoses are 1.5" inner diameter, a lot larger. Though, even when using the traditional slip on hoses, the Davis Craig has rubber adapters to down step them to the pump's smaller diameter ports.

So, would you guys recommend stepping up to 20 or 24an? And use adapters to the EWP fittings to step up the larger diameter? Maybe I should just go with a pump that has larger fittings like the bigger Mezier pump.

If anyone out there has used 16an and had issues with restriction please post!

I just want to be damn certain that I do not restrict flow and limit cooling potential. The EWP worked fine with slip fit connection on 20b, but an extra rotor is definitely some more heat. The good news is, last setup had a FMIC, this setup will have no intercooler blocking radiator.

Setup is a PPRE 4 Rotor PPort Turbo Engine, inlet/outlet at the engine will be based on whatever size hose is selected for the radiator/ewp combo.

Thankyou!

I have the Davies Craig EWP and -16AN lines for my rear-mount radiator setup. I've seen no evidence of undue restriction.

Not using an EWP, but I ran -16 rad lines with no issues. I've also known others to run -16 lines perfectly fine.

Yup, I've only done it on a 2-rotor, but I figure it should work with a 3-rotor just fine.

I also run -16 braided lines to and from.
