11" to small?
 

Aloha, Was wondering if an 11" steering wheel would be to small for autox, I was fiquring smaller would be better considering how slow the steering response is on an fb. Also it be nice to know what the prefered make and size is on the track. Mahalo, Buff

How does changing the steering wheel diameter change the number of turns lock-to-lock?

I have a 13" steering wheel on my rx7, steering response is quicker. But does require more effort since less leverage due to smaller wheel.

Overall I like it. I would not use a 11", too small.

11 inch is too small. you will need way too much effeort to turn it around.

They are deign more suitable to GoKART or Formula car with 1:1 steering...

Friend has a 10 or 11 on his TII with a manual rack.. and let me tell you.. it SUCKS ASS.
Horribly hard to do anythig with the car. Parking.. driving below 60.. turning..

Then there is the fact that it is sooooo small... any movement you make translates into harsh movements at speed.
Over 120 it is nearly impossible to keep the car in one lane. ANY movement of the wheel and the car wants to change lanes.
No I dont mean alignment issues.. I mean 1/4 inch movement on a 10 or 11 inch wheel is a huge movement on a 14 inch wheel.
Its like driving with short vice grips..

Even the guy who owns it.. cause its Mad cool yo!... AND its MoMo beatch. Well he is thinking of e-baying it and getting a 13" wheel.
