paying more doesn't guarantee you won't get ripped off either... history has proven that. in fact the people who lost thousands to tens of thousands seem even less vocal than those who lost $100. most likely because people don't like to be that one example that people remember.

UPDATE.

Finally got a response via Instagram. Threatened to file a paypal claim (which i did anyway). Told them I wanted a refund if the item hasnt been shipped already. On thursday they said it was shipped and that I was going to get my tracking number shortly. Nothing all of friday, then this morning i wake up to a USPS tracking number and apology with some sort of free gift as a peace offering. Tracking number of course shows that the item was sent friday, so obviously when he said it was already shipped thursday that was a lie. If I had not seeked them out from Instagram who knows if i would have got any response. I just hope the condition is anywhere remotely acceptable. Should have just went with Ken from shine. Lessons learnt

I just filed my Paypal claim today. Have been strung along for 2.5 months now for a set of "customized LEG Sports diffusers"... Was hard to keep track of each new lie/excuse... He said it was shipped 2 weeks ago, but then a week later said here's the tracking number... and it still wasn't registered at EMS as of this week, so I know that was just another lie. I'm done with that whole situation. *I was dealing with "Miguel Marte"? I'm assuming that's Javis Marte or a relative? Hmmn. Will update if the "already shipped for 3+ weeks but tracking doesn't work" parts ever actually arrive.

Just chiming in with my experience for others who might be considering buying from RusoGarage.

Ordered a diffuser on November 22, 2017. I asked every week for the following 8 weeks for tracking information - was repeatedly told it would be posted ‘next week’, that it was delayed because of Christmas, and finally that it had been posted but that he had to ‘go to the shipping company to pick up the tracking information.’

When I was given tracking information, the item was delivered to the UK (I live in Australia). I asked 5 more times over the following 3 weeks for the correct information. Was given a second tracking number, this time delivered to Western Australia (I’m on the East coast). I asked 3 more times to provide the correct information and rectify the situation or I’d open a PayPal dispute, and he stopped responding to my messages.

I waited 12 weeks, was lied to repeatedly, given false tracking information twice, and eventually ignored. As of today, PayPal has ruled in my favour and a refund is pending.

TL;DR - avoid RusoGarage.

you'd think that people would learn by now, but nope.

soon as someone lies once i file a paypal/credit card claim immediately.

i bet they make more off of people who give up and lose/don't file claims than they do actually doing **** all in their company. wish this was actually a surprising theme, but it's not.

It's a good thing that Paypal extended their tIme to file a claim from 30 days to 180 days.

yeah, they were bleeding customers because companies like this would simply lead people on for a month then just stop responding once the dispute timeframe was all used up, it's a lot harder to do that for half a year but some still manage to do it to people who are simply too busy or trusting to file claims earlier rather than later. which is why when something like this happens, there really shouldn't be a question about it. a claim can be cancelled, if something actually shows up, but sadly companies like this won't change their crappy and fraudulent practices because people let them get away with it.

Just wanted to jump in here and say as other have. I paid for a Autoexe style 99 wing blade in November. Was promised it before Christmas, then before end of Jan, then every other day. Then I got a tracking number that didn't work... I filed a claim in the beginning of Feb and Paypal ruled in my favor. I would not do business with them again.

Honestly very thankful that the Facebook group was active as I saw how many other people were going through this. Then I realized I should NOT be giving them the benefit of the doubt!

Looks like these guys are deleting negative comments from their instagram posts. I checked their most recent post this morning and again this afternoon. Several comments asking for refunds, tracking numbers, or why no one is answering emails/ messages have disappeared. This makes me wonder how many more people are getting ripped off than we are actually seeing.

I figured this was happening, even though I got my tracking number I definitely won't be cancelling my PayPal claim. They are scam artists

Hi everyone,

I made a post about these guys on FB. It caught a lot of traction and a lot of people who got scammed came out and voiced their situation as well. At that moment I knew I was not the only one affected by these scam artists.

Now, before you tell me to go buy "authentic" and whatever else. I know. I know. I know.
If I could go back, I would 100%. Anyway, I was extremely lead on by these guys, especially believing the cars they post were theirs.. which obviously isn't because the few parts that I actually received are the most shittiest quality and fitting body pieces I have ever seen.

The stories of others saying how they received false tracking numbers, I've been there. Been lied to dozens of times and a bunch of other **** that I do not want to explain again. My post should still be on Facebook, where I went really in depth.

Anyways I still have not got all my parts from these guys and they stopped replying back. I filed a paypal claim and waiting for it to all process through.

Excuse the caps, but I feel like my last paragraph below is extremely important for anyone who has been scammed or having issues with RusoGarage. So please read.

****IF YOU HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH THEM, NOW WOULD BE THE TIME TO FILE BECAUSE I TOLD PAYPAL CUSTOMER SERVICE THAT THESE GUYS HAVE BEEN ON A RAMPAGE IN SCAMMING THE RX7 CAR COMMUNITY THAT MORE CUSTOMERS WILL BE FILING CLAIMS AGAINST THEM (WHICH WILL IN TURN HELP SHUT THEM DOWN AND ALSO SWAY THE CASE IN YOUR FAVOR. ******

hey just wondering what you did in terms of your PayPal claim.

I ended up getting 1 of the two items I ordered from him (both around $450) and filed the claim for item not as described as one was missing. PayPal put it through after the 10 days of no response and asked me to return the item for a full refund.

there was no way in hell I was returning the front lip, considering I would be paying 70$ for the shipping and then in the month this whole ordeal has been going on, the exchange rate has changed so I would be losing 100$ from that too.

I decided there was no way I was paying $200 to get scammed and have nothing to show for it.

He's also completely stopped responding to me now, even after I message every few days (which was expected)

Even though im completely against scamming people, i sent back a empty box with tracking in the hopes that i would hopefully get back the $500 or so that hadnt ever arrived and get a free lip for the 3 month screw about.

I even gave the dude the option to refund me the $500 individually with no prevail so I can't say I didnt try.

Am waiting on the package to get to his location and say delivered before PayPal do anything.
will update when that happens

cheers everyone for your experiences, very surprised he hasn't been called out earlier with the amount of people he's screwed

what do you call scamming a scammer? nothing, because there is no such thing. don't feel bad about trying to get your money back plus expenses for their dicking people around.

I am literaly in the same boat as In Paypal. I sent you a PM btw!

alsp interesting Idea on sending a empty box... I haven’t thought of that. Paypal wants me to send back the items I’ve received from him (which are absolute junk) but I’ve already dropped em st the body shop to have them work on it since I didn’t think I’d have any chance to get a refund. That apparently voids Paypal policy.

I told them them that I never received my full order and they still wanted me to send back everything before I got a refundwhich makes no sense at all. Atleast refund me for the items I never even received.

all paypal really wants is to see tracking confirmation that you received a package, so all they really care about for a return is to see that the seller got a package back. so really they know that paypal will be on their side if they send you 1 item to keep fishing you along until the end of the claim period. personally i think sending an empty box back is just giving them a taste of their own medicine.

I ordered a plateless V2 99 bumper and after delay after delay it was delivered cracked in multiple spots and had the worst fitment I have ever seen. After getting the run around for a couple months on a replacement and a fake tracking number I filed a paypal dispute on Feb 20 and recived and full refund today (Mar 3rd). I never had to send it back or show a tracking number I am guesing because in the paypal dispute it was labled as damaged and not as described. The sad part is, I really liked the style of the bumper (bigger mouth and plateless) and now I am scratching my head on what bumper to get.

If you sent a box that will obviously not fit the part you purchased. The seller can contract paypal, show pictures of the box with the tracking number you provided and there will be a good chance that you will not receive your refund. Paypal protects both buyers and sellers from scams. why would you risk not getting anything at all? 20 percent loss is better than a 100 percent loss.
