Anyone use Osaka JDM Motors?

.......take a look at the price on the 13b's.

 No way it's that cheap. Very little info about the motor? 90% chance it needs a rebuild? Probably so.

They suck, and their motors are garbage.

Search in the good guy/bad guy section.

a new customer recently had one dropped shipped to my shop for an install, when i recieved it,it was blown, so now he is paying me for a rebuild, and a streetport too ;)
look on the bright side, they have cheap enough prices though, its worth getting one to build....

dude. yes. i used them for a honda swap, this was a few years ago, but i was furious. First there was so much debris in head- looked as though someone had removed the valve cover, left the motor in the open of a shop for like six months, then just decided to throw the cover on and ship it, the wiring harness had been cut, spliced into more loose cut ends, the exhaust manifold was cracked in two, the only plus of the whole deal was that i ended up with an lsd tranny, but thats not uncommon for a JDM B16, most came stock with them, so whatever.
Oh yea, shipping? At the time home was Atlanta, i kid you not, the motor traveled from california to seattle, then to ontario(???) then ny to houston to atlanta. one week late. it took over a month for it to get from them to me.
called them, the guys i talked to were jackasses, everysingle one of them. some were french speaking(the canadians i assume) and the other one was just an asshole, horrible experience, i will NEVER recommend them to ANYONE!!!
theres my two cents on them. never again.

I had excellent experiences with them about 3 years ago on all honda engines and trannys. They used yellow freight to get things to me. Usually took 3-4 days for shipping all was well.
Well About a year ago my I blew the engine in my third gen I wanted to get just the engine since my tranny was good. They were going to sell it to me for $1000 dollars shipped or so they said. I thought it was an excellent deal. I paid with a credit card so I could have canceled it if need be. After trying to contact them for so long about a month or two on NOT receiving anything I finally got someone on the phone. They FINALLY sent an engine to the depot I would pick everything up at. Well it was a TII engine that was in horrible condition. I wouldn't accept it. After about 2 months of phone calls and being furious and using almost everyone of my friends phones (they tend not to pick up blocked numbers) I got 650 bucks back. Don't deal with these guys they suck.
