What are the correct PFC boost settings for basically stock FD?
 

Hey guys, I’m hoping someone with a PFC and the default boost settings can help me out with a boost problem I am having. I just got a copy of the PFC user guide and it looks like there is a way to adjust boost function with the commander. I am dealing with a peak boost oscillation issue when I am using a PFC (no problem with the OEM ECU), and maybe the settings in my PFC are the problem.

So my question is, what are the normal/correct settings for boost with the PFC and stock engine controls? The PFC owner’s manual shows these:

Setting number 1
Pr 0.80 kg/cm2 pressure, 56% duty
Sc 0.70 kg/cm2 pressure, 64% duty

Setting number 2
Pr 0.90 kg/cm2 pressure, 63% duty
Sc 0.80 kg/cm2 pressure, 70% duty

Does “Pr” mean primary turbo and “Sc” mean secondary?

Are these values listed in the user guide the default values for the PFC for basically stock FD’s? I'm going to check my settings tonight but before I do it would be great to know if these are the correct base settings.

Yes, it's the primary and secondary turbos.

Setting 1 is 11 pounds of boost on the primary. Which I think is the roughly the stock boost level.

I assume you've had it tuned by a professional?
