Using Apexi PFC instead of MBC

Hi, I've been running MBC's on my Rx7 for quite some time at around 0.8 Bar but I have learned that the PFC can control boost as well, not to a high degree but as my car is relatively stock and i'm not going for high boost.

I've taken out the MBC's and hooked everything back to the way it was before. Now with the controller I can easily see that you have the boost control settings and it gives 4 options and it gives 2 categories of Boost and duty cycle.

I know straight away it's not a case of increasing the boost to get boost and you need to adjust the duty cycle as well. Now my question is that if I was to run at 0.8 bar what kind of duty cycle would I be looking at?

My main goal is to get the car to a tuner down south (There's nobody in my country so I will need to drive to england to get it tuned) but I am wanting to get as much of the ground work done first so it won't need to spend too long getting stuff done.

How much boost can the commander control? I know Apexi sells a separate boost controller that links in with the ECU and PFC so if the stock ecu and controller can control boost what does this extra boost controller do?

Depending on the year of the car you have you need to make sure you put the pills back in the lines that run from the primary turbo to the actuators.

There are two boost settings (low/high) each has a setting for primary and secondary turbo control.

Would using a Apexi avcr boost solenoid or similar In place of stock enable the PFC to have better control of the boost?
