Unable to set idle RPM

I recently installed a D-jetro Power FC, ran through the learning mode but I am unable to set the idle RPM.

I raised the various IDLE RPM values and my car still idles at the same RPM.

Am I forgetting to do something?

Is it idling to high? If so you need to adjust the idle screw so that it isn't at a point that is too high for the PFC to control. Mine almost has to be turned out all the way to control my idle via the PFC.

Well my PFC idle settings show 800 but my car is idling around 750

A search of this topic on this PFC forum will result in more hits than any other question in the PFC world.

Well I see posts about people having issues with idle but nothing directly related to them NOT being able to set base idle through the PFC.

Like I can go in the idle menu and change idle #s and it won't change anything. :/

It mainly comes down to totally knowing your car's idle and start systems, knowing the PFC, and then making the correct adjustments.

Then there are problems caused by wiring, hoses, etc not connected or bad.

I had set my idle and base timing as per manual.

I am not well known with Power FC, although I am not sure how much there is to know about one function that merely adjusts idle.

I have driven the car on the road and it drives fine (needs tuning since its not optimal).

So what could I be missing or doing wrong?
