Power FC
i just got my FC + commander and was planning on installing it myself without taking it to a shop.
my 7 has downpipe, exhaust and intake thats the base map it comes with, i was wondering if there are any benefits in having a dyno tune vs plug-in play |
having a street tuned car from my experience is way faster than a dyno tuned car being that a street tune is under real driving conditions but if you have a traction problem and simply cannot tune on the street because of this issue then you want to dyno tune the rest out but thats usually only the case for highly modded cars. not sure about others but i like to do 4th gear tuning it allows for a broader view of the tune especially when you data log

Welll the duno tune will get you the best possible results your car can handle - I.E Fuel/air mixes, boost settings, timeing, ect - Stock plug and play with the power fc is way better then the stock ecu - but bad vs a dyno tuned PFC

The base mod map that comes with the PFC runs very rich by default and has very conservative timing. You will definitely need to tune it to optimize it for your setup.
