Base map will run fine on a stock car, actually it will do some things better, like no 3000 RPM hesitation. It's a super simple install and you'll have the headroom for future mods if you end up doing them.

If you can borrow datalogit, you can make some reliability changes like lowering the temps that the fans turn on. It is well worth installing on a stock car.
