Pfc Base Map! Help

Right! I live in the UK, so can I pick your brains?

The cars set up

Engine

DP, HIGH FLOW CAT, CAT BACK
PFSIC, EXTENDED PORTED ENGINE, 3MM RACE TIPS
PFC

I've just had the PFC fitted and i'm getting 10-11psi of boost. I think the fitter has just pluged and played, NO setting up!
1.
Could this fry my engine or does the base map come with the setting to run rich for safety?
2.
And can the stock fuel pump and injectors handle this boost safely?

3.
If the answer is yes to question 2, @ what time do I need to upgrade the fuel pump and injectors?

4.
I cannot drive my car until you guys help.!!!!!!!!!

Please reply....

Thanks

1. Stock boost pattern is 10-8-10. If you are boosting 11 max, you will be fine with the base PFC maps. You should probably be getting close to 12 with the base PFC maps, but I don't know where you are getting the 11 reading from, so you might be about right.

2. Yes, see 3.

3. Depends on how safe you want to be. REALLY safe is to upgrade when you go consistently approach or barely exceed 80%, safe is when you barely exceed 85%, and not as safe is when you are barely exceeding 90%, over 90% is not very safe. You'll be able to see your injectory duty on the PFC.

4. Go drive. Remember that although the PFC maps are "safe" they are untuned. You must have your car tuned to achieve optimum output.

you are definately okay with the timming maps, you can swtich the boost to guet about 12 and still be okay. just make sure you are runnign rich enough, do few runs and watch teh o2 readings. you shoudl be okay. ALso watch you injector duty to make sure it does max out.

cheers
