now the car started once and ran for an hour or just over....but i had set the injectors to 45% but then turned them up to 100 while it ran... just to see what would happen...

now i dont no much about adjusting this stuff and dont wanna mess it up...

but i got the pfc used ( with commander) and im assuiming it didnt come set back to basemap is there a way i can do that on the commander? and reset it all ?

also the car just floods now every time i try start it... i have a switch for the fuel pump cutt off to try prevent that but it just floods constantly....

i de flood it every time but still nothing...

can any one help me out with what things i should adjust or reset or anything to get my fuel down and let it run and reset my pfc or something...

also fpr was set at 40 for when it ran...

Get the PFC manual, read it and learn. It does tell you how to re-initialize the PFC.
BUT: it will take a DATALOGIT to set the secondary to back to1600 if they were already that way.

Here is the instruction manual http://www.banzai-racing.com/store_i...werFC_FD3S.pdf

Vmop is the electronic oil metering pump which your car does not have
Fuel is the Fuel temp sensor which you also do not have

Depending on the map sensor you are using, initializing the PFC may put you in a worse spot then you are in right now.

well i got it used....so no manual....thanks for the link tho....and clearing up the highlighted sensors...

so should i reset it or no ?

Do you have this installed with our adapter harness? What map sensor are you using? If it is the GM 3 bar then do not reset the PFC as you will lose the ability to select that map sensor.

yes is it with 3 bar map sensor...and yes with your adapter harness....
thanks ill see how it goes...

Was the current map even set up for a 3 BAR?
You need an experienced PFC/DL person to check your setup with a DL which you have not mentioned!

It is beyond your current knowledge base.

okiedoke 06-18-10 04:23 PM

yes it is beyond my knowledge base....havent even had the car a year i dont no every thing clearly.... i spoke to the guy who did my short block rebuild and who supplied the pfc and he said i have to get it running and then 500km they will do my tune for me....but i assumed that i would need some basic adjustments to even get it to the point to where i can drive it to get to 500km....

all of this is just depressing...car has been sitting for weeks cause i cant get it to not flood...

If the PFC map is not set p for the GM 3 bar it will not run properly. You can not just run an S4 FC with the stock PFC FD base map.
