mac valve boost control

hey guys ive been trying to diagnose my mac valve problem 35A-AAA-DDBA-1BA,i followed this diagram http://www.efi-parts.co.uk/products_...er_install.jpg and have the signal wires ran to my ry-wire harness labeled boost,in datalogit on setting 1tab it has 2 primary checked boost is at 0.85 and duty at 0,same for the secondary the problem is that it wont open up the wastegate all at .i found out the hard way by over boosting to 19 psi ... now im currently running straight off the wastegate and it opening at 11 and holding. is there some way to test if the signal wires coming from the pfc are actually sending signal to mac valve ?cause the valve it working ,ive tested it with a air compressor and battary 12v it clicks and sends air thry when powered and blocks are when disconnected ..wastegate works when connected directly .so the only thing eles is my settings in power fc or there was a mistake in the wiring. any suggestions on how to diagnose this guys ? thanks

single turbo

ive tested the wires coming from the ecu labeled boost on the ry_wire harness im getting 12v power with ignition on.so i doubt its the wiring maybe its the settings..

Duty at 0 doesn't sound right
Is that single-turbo thing?

Plug the solenoid into the pre control plug and turn off sequential turbo control option. Control boost with primary turbo setting. In the datalogit your solenoid duty is "advanced PC%" where 0 is 0 duty and 255 is 100 %.

I don't know where the rywire harness goes. If it goes to the wastegate solenoid instead of the Precontrol, you need to check the box for sequential turbo control and set your turbo transition settings to 1800 low and 2000 high. See this thread https://www.rx7club.com/single-turbo...ontrol-900599/

You don't want the duty set at 0. You have to slowly go back and forth increasing the boost and duty setting until you get the boost you want. The boost and duty settings are somewhat arbitrary.

apologize for the late post just wanted to let you guys know after reading through the thread mentioned above i went ahead a located the wire for the mac valve to get signal . now i dont know if it was a mistake or if thats how rywire wired it ,(they have great a product regardless) but the signal wire that came with mines was pinned to the 4u pin on the power fc ,which is the wastegate solenoid..its works but i guess you have to turn on sequential turbo on and do a few other things .. just de-pin from the connector and plug it into 4v which is directly under it (4V=PRE-CONTROL SOLENOID).. set boost to prefer settings.i have mines currently at 1.00 /15% which is 13psi on my car with a single turbo / 10.2 afr.
this is not a post to bash on rywire ,its just an extra post for those might have ,missed some of the links or searched with the wrong key word .. if you want more details heres the link arghx posted above https://www.rx7club.com/single-turbo...ontrol-900599/ which provides photos and pin diagrams half way thru that thread.
thanks have a good day

I am in the process in getting a Mac Valve 4 port and had a quick question. Did you add a switch for the valve to tell it when you want it off and on? Or did you just found a 12V ignition switch and keep on when ignition is on?
