Installing PFC w/o trimming (4) wires

What happen if I install a PFC onto my 94 FD without pulling 4 wires out of the stock harness?

Thanks.

When I installed a PFC in my 94, I noticed no ill affects, however later I cut the wires. A couple of years later I installed the PFC in my 95 and decided to just disconnect the connectors at the solenoids rather than cut any wires.

For that car there were no issues, however as I stated I cut the wires anyway. I am not certain why the PFC manufacturer wants you to cut the wires are remove the pins, especially considering what the function of those wires/pins are...AWS,EGR, EGR switch, and Split Air.

I am not recommending you keep the connections, if you do not want to cut the wires then either remove/clip the pins or disconnect the connectors at each device.

Just pull the pins out of the ECU connector. Takes about 5 minutes, and is easily reversible. There's no good reason not to.

If Apexi says in the documentation to do it, you really should.

Yeah, I would pull the pins. A little tip I learned from Herblenny... take a normal pen apart. Take the ink stick(the part that actually writes) and turn in upside down to the open end. Put that end over whatever pins you need to get rid of. Work it back and forth until they come out. Hope this helps.
