Idle reving after installation

I thought I get some opinions if anyone else has had this issue after installing the Apexi FC Commander. Since the install, the car revs on its own in idle; the only way to stop it is to acceleate (obvously) but this is an annoying issue. The throttle has been adjusted but I still have this issue. Anyone? Bueller?

Did you do the idle learn procedure when you first put it in?

I did a 30 minute test with lights on, a/c on, etc if thats what you mean?

Adjust the air bleed under the throttle body.

That was the first thing that was done after the testing...

Did you cut the 4 wires? Do you have a wideband installed?

No and No to your questions. Could that be the issue?

It is mandatory that the wires be cut. The PFC can not control the EGR or AWS.

Without a wideband, you are flying blind with any aftermarket ECU.

Is there a wiring diagram anywhere that tells which wires to cut for this issue...?

So just out of curiosity, what if you didn't cut the four wires? What would happen?

theres a post in this thread that discusses the pinout differences.

Okay so I cut the four wires. I did a reset on the PFC. Started it and went through the idle learn. Took the car for a drive and experienced some cutting out and when I came to a light, it died. Started it up. Took it down the road, it died again when I got off the throttle and on the brake. I'm sure I cut the right wires. So why is it dying out? Thinking about re connecting the four wires and driving it again. Ran better before cutting the wires.

Power FC was installed for about a week and was absolutely flawless. Perfect cold and warm starts with no problems. Then it all took a dive and I had intermittent revving at idle like OP mentions. I tried to relearn idle but it would never stop revving. Wires were definitely cut. I tried to use butt connectors and re connect the wires to try the stock ECU but it was just bouncing around as well. Tried the bleed screw as well. Anyone else have insight on this?

I have done all the trouble shooting and think I have it down to my air bleed screw. I left the four wires cut. Checked the tps and it is set perfectly. Replaced the dash pot. Made sure fast idle cam is separating. I still get idle surge. I upped my fuel cut, which is actually when the injectors come back on after throttle release, and turned off O2. It runs much better and doesn't die, yet I still have idle surge. And I can't get it to idle below 1400 rpm whatever I do. When it surges it bounces between 980 and 1400 and eventually will settle at 1400. I have noticed at times, while driving, that when I let off the throttle and I'm coasting I can feel surge also. I'm still working on it. :/
