help/how to install apexi avcr map sensor

hi all

right i have water injection on the way so i will be wanting to turn the boost up a bit on my street ported t04r single.

i have a apexi avcr boost controller and a power fc and datalogit, can i patch the apexi map sensor into the wiring for the factory map sensor and still use the avcr to controll my boost, also what boost can i run with water injection with this setup.

thanks for any help.

You have essentially an Apexi Boost Conrtol kit...assuming your map sensor is the 3 bar sensor.

If it is the 3 bar sensor and once it is installed, I'm fairly certain you select option 1 of the PIM scale, offset in the settings 3 menu of Datalogit. Then make sure your solenoid is connected to the proper connector.

You will then be able to control boost via your PFCand will not need the AVCR.

im sure it is the 3bar sensor, what im looking to do is use the apexi map sensor to suply both the avcr and the power fc if that is possible.

I am not familiar with the functions of the AVCR. What does it do, that your PFC can't?

The AVCR solenoid and the Apexi boost control kit solenoid are the same. You can probably verify whether or not the 3 bar map sensor is identical.

The reason for stating this is; you may be able to control boost with the PFC and not use the AVCR for boost control.

I think the succesfulness of this setup has varied form user to user. I was using the Apexi boost control kit solenoid and the PFC to control boost on a single setup. My boost oscillated a few times before stabilizing in the high rpm range....approx 6-7K rpms
