Fault Codes with FC Commander
Hello all, im new to this but i have a 1990 convertible with a T2 engine swap, power FC commander and innovate motorsports lambda sensor. I recently replaced the clutch in the car and following the clutch change the car would start for 5 seconds and then die. I researched in forums here and traced the problem to my fuel system. Jumped the fuel pump afm bypass connection and the car fired right up. I test drove the car to check the clutch and my EGI fuse blew. I replaced the fuse with my spare and again it fired up and i drove it home. After i got it home i tried to start the car, and again it would start idle for a moment and then die. I found that i can feather the throttle to keep it running but if i hold it in the car will bog and die. I replaced the fuel pump relay/resistor, fuel filter and fuel pump. Car still has same issue. How do i use my fc commander to see what fault codes my car has thrown? I tried to jumper the green diagnostics connector behind the driver headlight to the neg battery terminal and it wont work. I was told this was due to not having a stock ECU. Can anyone help please?
