Exclamation Do you need to run resiters on low impedence injectors with the Power FC?

Can the PFC injector drivers support Low impedence / peak and hold fuel injectors? My injectors are ohm'ing out at 2.3-2.6 , which is of course very low. I would prefer not to run ballast resisters inline, but I do not want to fry my injector drivers in the PFC.

Does anyone know for sure the answer to this or know who could tell me?

The for sure answer is nobody on here knows for sure. Ralph at Xcessive and Dave at KDR don't run them. I think Steve Kan suggest using them. So who knows really?

On all of the cars at Gotham when I was there, the mechanics always used resistors for the 1680cc top feed secondaries.

OFFICIALLY:

Some have had PFC burnout when running low impedance injectors without resistors. Thus play it safe and run them.

Originally the resistor size was: (orig inj resistance) - (new inj resistance) = resistor. It was about 9 - 10 Ohms.

The RX-7 Store is using 3 Ohm resistors with their Bosch 1600s which work fine. This does not affect inj flow rate. Only affects lag.
